　　Q: Is everyone at WPXI-TV pregnant?

　　— Rodney, via email

　　Rob: Not sure about everyone — assume that would come as a surprise to the station’s male on-air talent — but at least three women who work as reporters/anchors at WPXI have posted about their pregnancies on social media in recent months.

　　Alyssa Raymond posted about her pregnancy on Instagram on Mother’s Day. She’s due to give birth to a daughter in mid-October.

　　Liz Kilmer posted to Facebook about her baby shower in June.

　　Earlier this month Amy Hudak posted about the birth of her daughter, Nora, with husband Jim Madalinsky, a former WTAE-TV reporter. Hudak noted she’ll be on maternity leave for a bit.

　　“She’s our little miracle after multiple pregnancy losses,” Hudak says of Nora. “Her name means light. She’s our light after some dark times with fertility troubles.”

　　At KDKA, Megan Shinn gave birth to a son last month.

　　And at WTAE, Elena LaQuatra has also posted about her pregnancy.

　　Q: Do you have any idea when WQED-TV might air the new Rick Steves special on Iceland? His website says it will air on PBS stations in August but I don’t see it coming up anytime soon for Pittsburgh.

　　Rob: Although Steves’ programs air on WQED, a PBS member station, Steves’ shows are distributed by American Public Television, not PBS, so these programs are not part of the PBS national schedule. PBS stations pick and choose APT programming and air it when they find an available timeslot.

　　Steves’ Iceland show is scheduled to air on WQED at 3 p.m. Sept. 20 and 5 p.m. Sept. 21.

　　Q: Every weekday during the 6 p.m. news on WTAE they say the next newscast will be on Cozi TV at 7 p.m. But when I watch Cozi on YouTube TV at 7 p.m. it’s always “Roseanne” reruns. What’s the deal?

　　Rob: YouTube TV carries WTAE-TV but does not carry its digital subchannel with the local version of Cozi, which is where WTAE’s local newscasts air. The Cozi channel on YouTube TV is a national feed, which is why it does not include Channel 4’s 7 p.m. newscast.

　　Q: Xfinity recently made changes to their channel lineup and removed all Pittsburgh channels for consumers living in Jefferson County/DuBois area. We are now considered outside of market and forced us into the Altoona/Johnstown market. Is there a way to access live programming from KDKA/WPXI/WTAE for those of us outsiders?

　　Rob: Technically, viewers in Jefferson/DuBois were never entitled to Pittsburgh stations because FCC must-carry rules for cable providers only apply to stations in the designated market area. Jefferson is not in the Pittsburgh DMA.

　　Your best way to access Pittsburgh stations is via their websites or streaming apps, though those won’t give you access to network programming, just local programming.

　　Q: Will “Say Yes to the Dress” be returning to TV with new episodes?

　　Rob: A TLC representative refused to say.

　　Q: Whatever happened to “The Resident”?

　　Rob: Fox canceled “The Resident” in April 2023 after six seasons.

　　Q: Is CBS canceling “Blue Bloods”?

　　Rob: Yes. The final episodes of “Blue Bloods” will air this fall on CBS.
